Karnataka Kesarwani Vaishy Sabha (KKVS) had organised a Kesarwani Meeting cum Family Get-together on 16/01/2011 (Sunday) at Ramee Guestline Hotel, Plot No. 1 & 2, KIADB Industrial Area, Attibele , Hosur Main Road, Bangalore - 562107.
Total 85 Kesarwanies (65 Adults incl. 25-30 Ladies, 10 Kids 6-12 yrs & around 10 kids below 6 yrs) attended the event. The attendance was less than the expectation, as many Kesarwanies had confirmed but couldn't attend it. There was a serious discussions on many propsal, given by members, to reach to all Kesarwanies in Bangalore & gather them in next meeting / get-together. It have been proposed to arrange the next meeting / get-together on 14th August (Sunday) & also decided to organise it in a bigger & simpler way at some community hall in city limit, to make it free for all Kesarwanies, to advertise it in local news papers to connect to all Kesarwanies in Bangalore, specially Kesarwani students etc. Also it is proposed to have it as a "Parichay Sammelan".
Coming back to event, which started by 9:00 Am. Guest arrival, breakfast and personal / one-to-one interaction was continued till 11:00 Am. Parallely the registration of new Kesarwani Members / family & updation of the Bangalore Kesarwani Database, was also being done by Mr. Shailesh Prabhakar - Coordinating Secretary: KKVS & Mr. Sanjeev Keshri . Around 11:30, all Kesarwani members gathered in the Hotel's Armada hall & taken their seats. The event was inaugurated by Shri & Smt. Virendra Gupta - President: Karnataka Kesarwani Vaishy Sabha by lighting the "deep" & with a welcome message by them to all the guests.
The Ganesh Vandna, Saraswati Vandna was sung by girls. After that all members, including kids; introduce themselves. Shri Satish Chandra Kesarwani, General Secretary - KKVS told about the assault on Shri Nand Gopal Gupta "Nandiji" & lately on Shri Raj Kishore Keshri . All Kesarwanies offered the Shraddhanjali to Late Shri Raj Kishore Keshari - BJP MLA from Purnea, Bihar, who was stabbed to death by a lady on 04/01/11. All prayed the almighty to have his soul in piece & to give the courage to his family & Kesarwani samaj to bear this big loss.
After that, Mr. Manoj Kesarwani, introduced the office bearers of Karnataka Kesarwani Vaishy Sabha & its women wing to all Kesarwani Guests. Members expressed their views on betterment of Kesarwani Samaj. Now it was the time for break to enjoy the resort facilities viz. swimming pool, children play area, sports facilities etc. While kids & some of the members were enjoying in pool, others were busy in knowing each-other & discussing the various issues related to Kesarwanies & Kesarwani Samaj. There was also arrangement of Delicious Lunch for members. All had the lunch, relaxed a bit & then again became busy in Group Interaction / Discussion. Some key members were found busy in finalising the date, venue, strategy & many other such issues for next meeting.
All members gathered again by 3:30 Pm for further activities. A brief information on Kesarwani's present status, Kesarwani Sangthans, Akhil Bharatiya Kesarwani Vaishy Mahasabha - its objectives & strategy, Kesarwani.net, Kesarwani eGroup, Cast Based Census-2011 etc. given by Mr. Manoj Kesarwani. After that all the members enjoyed the Housie for all, Musical Chair for Ladies. Now once again the stage was for the budding Kesawani stars. They performed Dance, Solo & Duets Songs, Jokes, Martial Arts, Group Dance , Break Dance etc. All encouraged & motivated the kids. KKVS presented the gifts to all kids.
At the end, the members expressed their views regarding the importance of such gathering & promised to keep in touch to each-other. It was a common demand to organise such gathering on regular interval to have a chance to meet each other & discuss the various Kesarwani issues. Also Mr. Manoj Kesarwani motivated the members by sort stories to co-ordinate & to help each-other for a better & progressive Kesarwani Samaj. The event concluded by Shri Ghanshyam Das Keshri, Vice President - KKVS, with vote of thanks & with the announcement of next meeting on 14th August' 2011 (Sunday)
All together, it was a good day, all had a good time. Many got the chance to meet their relatives at the same time some were able to establish the missed links between / among families. It was my pleasure to have a chance to attend the event with Kesarwanies in a Southern state. All were feeling proud to be part of the big Kesarwani family. Many called it as "a home away from home".
